Dispatch Information

Our gifts are all hand packed by our small team of Bluebirds- Orders placed before 11am Monday-Friday will usually be dispatched the same day, although during busier periods dispatch may be delayed until the next working day. Orders placed after 11am will be dispatched the next working day.

Orders placed over a weekend or on a bank holiday will be dispatched on the next working day (Monday-Friday)

Requesting delivery for a later date

If your gift is required for a future date please let us know in the order notes and we can dispatch it closer to the time. Unfortunately however we cannot guarantee delivery on a certain day/date. If you have selected a tracked delivery option you will receive an email from Royal Mail with a delivery date once we have posted your gift. If you feel it may still arrive too early you can then use the link that they provide to pick a different delivery day within the following 7 days.

UK Postage Information

Your order will be dispatched within 1 working day (Monday- Friday) – once it is in the delivery network it will usually arrive within the below timescales:


Royal Mail 48 – Delivery guidelines are 2-3 working days from the date of dispatch, with an aim of 48 hours.

Royal Mail 24 – This service usually delivers the next working day after the date of dispatch.

Please be aware that although Royal Mail aims to deliver in these timescales unfortunately there may be times when they experience delivery delays.

Free Tracked 48 to UK postcodes on all orders over £45

Free Tracked 24 Delivery to UK postcodes on all orders over £75


Our postal partners are Royal Mail however we do on occasion use an alternative courier- If you would like to check which courier service your parcel will be arriving with please get in touch at thenest@wherebluebirdsfly.co.uk


International Postage

Following Brexit we have unfortunately made the difficult decision to suspend EU and international postage including the Republic of Ireland at this time, this is due import VAT being charged to the recipient of the parcel upon it’s arrival in the destination country:

We advise where possible orders are sent to a UK address and then posted on to the recipient yourself- this way your purchase can be sent as and treated as a gift for customs and VAT purposes in the destination country.

Tracking Your Delivery

If you have chosen a tracked delivery option, we will ask the delivery company to send you an email to the email address you provided with a tracking number and link once your delivery has been scanned into their network. If you haven’t received this within 24 hours of your email from us advising that your order has been completed and is on it's way- please get in touch at thenest@wherebluebirdsfly.co.uk and we can request this for you.

If you have picked an untracked delivery option this is not scanned along it's journey with Royal Mail but we can still tell you when it has left us and once it has arrived too- if you have any questions about your delivery please do get in touch and we will be happy to help.

Selecting A Delivery Date Or Nominating A Safe Place

If you have picked a tracked delivery you will receive a text message or email from Royal Mail after your parcel has been dispatched, this will give you information about when your parcel is due to be delivered and a few options if you aren't going to be home:


  • You can select a more convenient delivery date within the next 7 days
  • Choose a neighbour for Royal Mail to try and deliver to if you're not in
  • Nominate a Safe Place for Royal Mail to leave your parcel
  • Select a local post office or delivery office to collect your gift from instead


Missing/Delayed Parcels

Deliveries can take a little longer during busier periods and at times experience unexpected delays, hopefully your gift will be arriving very soon.

If you have selected a tracked delivery option you can keep an eye on the current status of your parcel by checking your Royal Mail tracking number (if you haven't received this please let us know!)

If you have not received your order after 10 working days from your dispatch email, please email the Bluebird Team at: thenest@wherebluebirdsfly.co.uk and we will investigate and resolve the issue for you.
